
There are set requirements and fees for attesting a document at the Consulate General. If a document was issued in Afghanistan and attested by the Consulate Affairs Directorate of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, this Consulate General attests the document without charging a fee.
If a document was issued by authorities in India, it should be attested by the Ministry of External Affairs of the issuing country before it gets attested by this Consulate General.
Applicants are required to write a request letter addressed to this Consulate General and outline the need for verifying/attesting/authenticating the document(s)
1- Original of the document(s) to be attested/verified/authenticated.
2- Copy of the document(s) to be attested/verified/authenticated.
3-Proof of Address in India. The applicant should make a copy of either his/her driver license OR Passport OR utility bill OR bank statement OR Adhaar Card OR RP (In case of an Afghan or foreign Citizen).
Document submitted for attestation will be attested within 24 hours of submission.
